7:15 AM  Cy Young Run registration starts at Cy Young Park Pavilion 

               adjacent the tennis courts.

 8:00 AM  Cy Young Run begins at the park.

11:30 AM  Luncheon doors open at Labors Local Hall 134,

                 lunch is at 12:30 PM, basket auction to be held during the                        luncheon.             

12:00 PM  Tents and Concessions Open.

12-2 PM  Whiskey Creek Band on the Canal Street Stage
 5:00 PM  Parade Line-up beginning at Nct. High School
 6:00 PM  Parade starts

 7:00 PM  Grand Parade Marshal Autograph signing at the Olde Main                     Street Museum free and open to the public. New Towne                           Cloggers at Canal Street Stage. 
  8-11 PM  The Adam Calvert Band takes the stage with their hi-energy                    Country / Rock Show!

Sunday June 24th 

10:00 AM Old Timers Baseball Tournament begins at Cy Young Park

                Concessions will be available for your enjoyment. 

12:00 PM  Concessions open down town.     

  1:00 PM  Registration for Car Show on Main Street

  1:00 PM  Talent show and performance by ARTS NCT. on the Canal                      Street Stage

  3:00 PM  Pet Show on the Canal Street Stage
  3:00 PM  Car Show registration ends on Main Street 
  5:00 PM Pass out Car Show awards and the closing of the festival

Dwight "Doc" Gooden, he won the NL Cy Young Award 1985, will be our guest of honor at the 2018 luncheon, signing autographs, answering questions from the attendees and will be available for pictures. The luncheon is held at the Labors Local Hall 134 at 150 North River Street, the corner of River and Main Street in Newcomerstown, Ohio on Saturday June 23, 2018. The laborers Local 134 will sponsor this event. Doors open at 11:30a.m. and lunch is at 12:30p.m. Tickets are $20 for Adults and $10 for kids under 11 Tickets can be purchased or reservations made by calling 740-498-4545 or email chaney.janet8@gmail.com Basket Auction will be held during the Luncheon with 1st. basket to be signed by Dwight Gooden. 

 "Doc" will also appear as our Grand Parade Marshal that evening at 6p.m. and at the Olde Main Street Museum for autograph signing after the parade, free and open to the public. 


The Annual Cy Young Days Festival Parade will be held Saturday June 23, 2018 at 6:00 PM  with line-up beginning at 5 and we would like to invite you to participate. Please consider decorating your unit with a baseball theme.

Festival Parade will start on Oak Street in the High School area.  It will go North on River to Church St.  It will travel East on Church to College Street and North on College to Main Street.  They will then go West on Main to Goodrich where they can disband.   at the High School or West State Street. Pre-Register by June 11th. and enter on Beaver Street from State St. when lining up. Thank you. A check in table will be available at corner of Oak and Beaver for those not registered or have questions.

Please be considerate of safety of others and the festival liability insurance requirements: NO THROWING ITEMS SUCH AS CANDY FROM YOUR FLOAT and/or VEHICLE!

Old Timers vintage base ball tournament will be back on Sunday of festival weekend at Cy Young Park with four teams coming to town. Canal Dover Redlegs, Mohican Rivermen, Whiskey Island Shamrocks and our local Newcomerstown Cyclones. Come journey back in time to a day when life was a little slower and gentleman dressed in wool caps,  knickers and high stockings. This is a  recreation of the way our national past time was played in the mid 1800's using the same rules and language of the era during the days of the Civil War. Snow Cone Vendor  and Newcomerstown Masonic Lodge will have a food stand set up for your enjoyment as well! In addition to bleachers being provided, feel free to bring a chair or a blanket to sit on and spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon with us. Please brush up on your Old Timers rules, the spectators are also part of the game! Special guest appearance this year. 


June 23th. at Cy Young Park in Newcomerstown, Ohio. Pre-Registration is $17 for the first two family members and & $15 for other members of the same family. $20 the day of the race for the 2 mile and 4 mile. $10 for the 1 mile. Registration starts at 7:15 AM at Cy Young Park Pavilion adjacent the tennis courts and the 1 and 2 mile races begin at 8:00 AM with the 4 mile starting at 8:30 AM Please check out the registration under forms on this website and for contact information.​​


Talent Show and performance by ART NCT. starting at 1pm.

3pm. Do you have a pet?  Dog, Cat, Chicken, Goat, Rat, Snake, or something odd, strange or curious??  Bring it to the Festival Pet Show .

On the unlikely chance that foul weather will hit the area during our upcoming Festival, we have made some totally unneeded plans.

Open ceremonies, Queens Crowning, Entertainment, Pet Show and the Talent Show will move to the Laborers Local Hall at 150 River St. or as needed. Please see facebook for latest updates.
